What type of questions should I expect on this exam?
The exam will consist of multiple-choice questions. It is a computer adaptive test (CAT), meaning the questions you receive are in direct response to the questions you previously answered. If you get an answer wrong, the next question will be slightly easier. Get an answer right and the next question will be a little more difficult. With each question you answer, the computer’s estimate of your abilities gets more precise.
What is the difference between Live Online classes and an Ondemand course?
With Live Online classes, you receive the experience of studying in a live classroom with an instructor—everything takes place virtually. Ondemand courses consist of pre-recorded lecture videos you can watch at your convenience.

Everything You Should Know About the NCLEX Exam
The NCLEX exam is a standardized exam you need to pass in order to become a registered nurse.
Prerequisites
The NCSBN has several requirements for exam applicants. Because states’ requirements all vary, we suggest checking with your state board.
Exam Fees
NCSBN charges an application fee of $200 for the NCLEX exam.
Exam Day
The exam will consist of 74-145 questions and has a time allotment of 5 hours. It is a computer adaptive test (CAT), meaning the questions you receive are in direct response to the questions you previously answered. If you get an answer wrong, the next question will be slightly easier. Get an answer right and the next question will be a little more difficult. With each question you answer, the computer’s estimate of your abilities gets more precise.
After the Exam
Unofficial results on your NCLEX exam can be access two business days after you take the exam if your nursing regulatory body participates in the Quick Results Service. Official results will be sent approximately six weeks after you take the exam.
